Q: How long does my dog get to be outside?
A: Amount of time spent outside is dependent on the weather and how many dogs we have boarding. Nice weather and fewer dogs boarding means more outdoor time.
Q: I dropped off at 4pm on Friday and picked up at 3pm on Saturday. That's not even 24 hours, so why am I being charged for 2 days?
A: Just like a hotel, we have a check out time. If you dog stays here past noon, we can't rent that space out to someone else for the day.
Q: Can I drop my dog off early, say 7am?
A: No, we do not offer early drop offs or late pick ups.
Q: Can I bring bedding for my dog?
A: Yes, you are allowed to bring your own bedding as long as it will fit into the run. (This can sometimes be an issue since the run doors open in.) However, the Dog On Inn is not responsible for any chewed up or soiled bedding. We make every effort to send bedding home clean, but since we do not do laundry onsite, its often difficult to get blankets washed before sending dogs home. Also, many dogs that don't chew bedding at home enjoy ripping the stuffing out of their favorite bed while they're here.
Q: How far in advance do I need to make reservations?
A: It depends on the time of the year. For holidays and spring break, we fill up so you'll want to call at least a few weeks ahead of time. During the rest of the year, calling a week before you'd like to bring your dog in would be appreciated. We understand this much notice is not always possible and will do our best to accomodate your dog on short notice.
