Boarding
- Veterinarian recommended dog boarding facility, licensed by Kalamazoo County Animal Control.
- Individual indoor/outdoor runs
- Climate controlled facility
- Individual or group playtime in one of our play yards four times each day. Please notify us if your dog digs or climbs fences.

- Up to one medication/treatment per dog (up to twice a day) at no charge
- Large runs can accommodate multiple dogs if you'd like your pups to share a kennel

The rate works just like a hotel with a check-out time 10:00 am. You
are charged for the day you drop your dog off regardless of the time.
You are not charged for the day that you pick your pooch up if you come
between 8am and 10am. Dogs picked up between 10am to noon or from 3 and 6pm will be charged
for that day. For example, if you drop your dog off at 4:30pm on
Friday and pick up on Sunday at 4:30, you would be charged for 3 days-
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It would also be a 3 day charge if you
picked your dog up on Monday morning before 10 am.
Payment due upon pick up. CASH OR CHECK ONLY. We are not set up to take debit or credit cards.Please bring:
- Proof of current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and bordetella)
- Food for your dog (If you would like us to provide food for your dog, it is an extra dollar per day)
- Any toys, bones, or treats you'd like your dog to have
- We provide bedding and bowls
Hours for dropping off and picking up:
We are open from 8am to 12 noon and 3pm to 6pm seven days a week, including holidays. You can drop off or pick up your dog anytime during these hours. We do not offer early drop offs or late pick ups. For your convenience, we are open 7 hours a day, 365 days a year!

Call ahead of time to make boarding or grooming reservations.
Cancellations
Please be considerate and let others use the time that you don't. Kindly let us know at least 48 hours prior to drop off if you
will no longer be needing our services. A $16 fee will be incurred
for any no call no shows.
Bedding & Other Belongings
We have bedding here that we can provide for your dog at no charge. However, you are welcome to bring your own bedding if you would like. The bedding needs to be reasonably sized so that it can fit into the run, which can sometimes be an issue since the run doors open in. The Dog On Inn is not responsible for any chewed or soiled bedding. We make every effort to send bedding home clean, but since we do not wash laundry on site, its often difficult to get blankets washed before sending dogs home. Also, many dogs that don't chew bedding at home enjoy ripping the stuffing out of their favorite bed while they're here. All of this applies to toys as well. Additionally, the Dog On Inn is not responsible for any belongings lost or left behind. Please label your dog's items.
Dirty Dogs
We reserve the right to charge anywhere from $1 to $3 extra per day (depending on the severity and frequency of the messes) for dogs that aren't potty trained. This applies to both puppies and adult dogs that don't wait to go outside to go to the bathroom. Every time a dog defecates or urinates in his/her run, it has to be disinfected. This means that we use more cleaning supplies and spend extra time keeping your dog's run sanitary if they don't have nice bathroom habits. There is no extra charge for dogs that have an occasional accident; this policy only applies to dogs that have to have their run disinfected every day, multiple times a day.
We make our best effort to keep dogs clean during their stay here. However, some dogs go to the bathroom in their run and then walk through or sit down in the mess. These dogs will be washed at the owner's expense.
Long Term Boarding
We offer a 10% discount for dogs boarded for three weeks or more. This discount applies to boarding only and does not extend to grooming or retail. To receive this 10% discount, you must pre-pay 50% of the total boarding bill at time of drop off. Dogs that are booked for more than three weeks and are picked up early will be charged the lesser of the entire discounted booked reservation or the regular daily rate for the period the dog was boarded.
Destructive Dogs
Owners are responsible for all damage caused to our kennel and any injury that the dog may inflict upon itself while engaging in destructive behaviors. This applies to separation anxiety, fear of thunderstorms, fence fighting, or general escape behaviors.
